All About Me, Nancy McGregor

I was born in Albert Lea, MN and raised on a farm 16 miles south in Northwood, Iowa.  My parents, Donnie and Gloria Hagen, my sister Julie and her family and my brother Gus and his family still live in Northwood. 

I graduated Northwood-Kensett Schools and went on to North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, IA where I received my Associate of Applied Science degree.  I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where I lived for 16 years.  We fell in love with Northfield and moved back to the beautiful Midwest in the fall of 1996.

I have 2 wonderful children, Cameron and Grayce who I am very proud of!  I have a very supportive husband, Jim who works for Chart, Inc. in New Prague. Cameron works for Beef O' Bradys and has since they opened in January 2008. Santa brought Cassie to us for Christmas (2004).  She is a beautiful Black Lab/German Short hair mix and simply a wonderful dog.  We are members of St Peter's Lutheran Church.  I am a member and an Ambassador of the Northfield Chamber of Commerce.   My children both go to the Northfield High School where they keep active in sports and music.  Go Raiders!!   Northfield has a very good school system and is a great place to raise children with many opportunities.

I started in Real Estate as the Office Manager with Al Thorpe Realtors in January of 1998 before we merged with Edina Realty where I continued on as the Office Administrator.  I love working with people and enjoy living in Northfield, it is a wonderful community.   I decided to go back to school to get my Real Estate license with my sister, Julie Hagen Robb who is licensed in Iowa with Century 21.  I have also gone through Edina University and Edina offers many classes and networking which I enjoy attending.  I am Northfield's representative of the Edina Foundation which all of our agents contribute part of their commission which we give back to the community.  I went through the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) classes and the Relocation (Relo) classes.  I am a member of the SAC (Sales Advisory Council) for the Northfield Office and a Exceptional Property Specialist with Edina Realty.  I was honored to be listed in the Minneapolis/St Paul Magazine and the Twin Cities Business Monthly magazines as Super Real Estate Agent two years in a row which I was nominated by past clients.  I am a proud member of Edina Realty's Leadership Circle and the President's Circle for the last five years.  I became an ASP Realtor (Accredited Staging Professional) in 2006 where now can also stage my clients homes.

I love my job and the people I work with.  I am very proud to be a part of Edina Realty and live by our motto 'Honesty, Integrity, and Commitment' . I live by the 'Get by Giving' philosophy and I do what I say I will do, sometimes more, but never less.  I believe we can make our dreams reality and we make our own happiness starting with ourselves and the power of positive thinking!  Real Estate needs, I'll take care of them!
